Hard Work

Years passed and Michael made hard work a daily habit. He had so much experience in the construction field that any firm in Taiwan would hire him at a high position. But Michael had even bigger plans for himself.  After five years of extreme work in a foreign land, Michael had enough savings to head back to Taiwan and start something of his own.

His Own Company

Michael soon started his own construction company. Within years his company expanded further that Michael opened one more branch in a different city. He was now being counted among the top contractors in the country. He was successful and his family was proud of him. In the middle of all these joyful moments, his past was soon going to knock at his door.

The Past

One of Michael’s friend told him about his first girlfriend, Irene. She was going through some rough days in her life. His friend explained how she became a victim of selfish marriage life. Her husband cheated on her when she went on a work trip. By the time she returned, her husband flew away with their 5-year-old boy. This led to a divorce and she was still trying to recover from the shock and get the custody of her son.

Another Ex

Judy too wasn’t doing great. She was still unmarried as her parents didn’t like any of her boyfriends. She finally stopped dreaming about marriage and was having a tough time dealing with the fact that her parents will never have the same choice as hers.

Unfortunate Reality

Michael felt bad for both of his ex-lovers and wanted to do something to make them feel better. He was also aware of the reality that both the girls made their own choices and now there was nothing that he could to do for them even if he wanted to.

Finding Love

Before Michael made his name in the construction world, he met a girl named Susan. Unlike the others, she stood by him all this time. She was more than supportive when Michael decided to risk all his savings just to start a business.
