Never Getting It Easy

There are two possibilities in life, either one will get everything very easily or one has to work harder than others to get what he/she deserves. Michael belonged to the latter category and by then he understood it well. Instead of taking everything for granted, he started investing most of his time into working overtime to earn more.

Construction Worker

Now that Michael was employed as a construction worker from a couple of years, he started to be satisfied with his current job and pay. His family always believed that no work is big or small and now even Michael started to believe in it. And soon he got more to believe in, ie, love.

Money Problems

Irene walked into Michael’s life and filled the empty spaces. But this happiness wasn’t going to last for too long. After dating for over a month, Irene asked Michael a question that was about to decide if there is any future to this relationship or not. 

Work Comes First

Irene wanted to know when will Michael continue his studies. Michael honestly went on telling her his plans and how he couldn’t afford higher education. Irene was taken by surprise on hearing all this from him. She grew furious and suggested him alternatives about distance learning but Michael explained how he won’t be able to give enough time to studies on a regular basis.

Break-Up

Irene made it clear that she will not live her life with an “uneducated” man. She had status to maintain in the society and hence she broke up with Michael without even understanding how much he loved her. For Michael, on the other hand, it came as a huge shock.

Brokenhearted

Michael couldn’t believe that his work affected her so much that she felt ashamed to introduce him to her friends and family. Michael became distant from everyone after this heartbreaking incident. It took him almost a year to stabilize all the stressful thoughts.
