Strange Object

While they were finally enjoying each other’s company, Zach saw something that caught his attention and he asked his dad to stop immediately. Bret, unaware of the situation stopped the bike suddenly. Zach pointed his dad towards the direction of the field so that he could also see the thing that caught his eye. What was it that made them stop in the midst?

Investigating

They made their way to the object and tried to investigate what it might be. It looked like a crate, but why would anybody leave the crate in the middle of the field? They looked at each other in doubt and thought about what it might contain. As they went further to have a proper look at the object, the crate suddenly moved out of nowhere and they both backed off, fearing that crate might have some dangerous animal inside it.

Scratches On The Crate

After a while when the movement in the crate stopped they came a little closer to it as their curiosity increased. As they came close, they saw scratches on the upside of the crate. It was clear that there was an animal inside it. They were afraid to open the box but out of curiosity, they thought of lifting the lid off it. Would they be able to know what it contained?

The Discovery

As the creature was still playing hide and seek, Bret annoyingly removed the lid. Zach pulled his father back with his arms because he feared that the terrified animal might attack. And as the lid was fully removed a puppy came out. She was black in color and was mortified to death. It seemed as if she had been put into the cage for a long time.

Consequences

It seemed like a task to go near as she had been smelling like her own feces. The pooch’s condition was terrifying as she was unable to stand on her feet and had a hunch on her back due to the lack of space to move in the crate. They weren’t even able to tolerate the smell and had a feeling that they would puke. Still, they plucked up their courage and went near the terrified pooch.

Fear In The Eyes

The more they came near the pooch the more it got scared but they couldn’t leave it right there. She looked famished from eyes so Zach ran towards his bike as he remembered that he had packed the dog’s food and hadn’t removed it from the bag. He put the food in front of the pooch. She hesitantly moved forward and grabbed it and started to gulp it down her throat.
