Time for the mother and daughter to be reunited!

Mata’s mother was oblivious to the fact that she would be sighing away her rights as a parent when she would sign the papers necessary to provide Mata a decent education. all the while, the “sponsor” family was paying the fake adoption agency $15000 under the ruse of processing fee. That money was, in fact, being used to fund this child trafficking ring the villages in Uganda. Now that the truth was out in the open about Mata, the family was packing bags and preparing to fly to Uganda to reunite the separated mother and daughter.

A long-awaited reunion!

After a long flight over the South Atlantic Ocean, the family along with Mata and Riley had finally made it safely to Uganda. This was a long journey but well worth it because at the end of this flight was a mother waiting desperately for her daughter. This was about to be a very emotional reunion. Mata had been away from her home and her mother for more than 6 months now. One can only imagine how much she had missed her all this time.

On the flight back to Uganda, Jessica asked Mata what was the thing she missed most about her mother, to which she replied “her hand cooked meal”. It seemed even though Mata had been away from her home and mother to a place which many would argue is better, she still missed everything that was native to her. Jessica too was full of emotions during this flight, all this time she had loved Mata as her own daughter, She thought this girl had nobody but she to love. with emotions soaring as high as their plane. Jessica was ready to reunite the two.

The Davises did a great thing by returning little Mata back to her mother, As Adam said, if it were their own child that had been separated from them like this, they would too want them back, in fact, they would do everything in their power to bring back their son or daughter. Even the thought of separating them from their children was enough to reduce both Adam and Jessica to tears.

The family knew they were about to witness a miracle. The smile on Mata’s face upon seeing her mother again was a pure indication of their loving relationship. Mata’s mother was overwhelmed with glee as she could not believe that she almost lost Mate forever. This was not the end, though.

Although Mata’s Story had a happy ending here. Not all the children who have been abducted from their home under the ruse of higher education and better life meet such a fortunate end. Many of them are sold into slavery or worse. Kids are often used for organ black marketing and this is indeed a reason to worry. Thanks to people like Riley there is still hope though that these children will have the same luck as Mata. Every child deserves to know their true family and home.
