Miscarriage

After a long wait and hundreds of clinic appointments, the couple finally got the most awaited good news. Sadly, it didn’t last for too long. Bernita had a miscarriage in the first 3 months of her pregnancy. She thought this was the extreme pain that she could have taken. Little did she know this was just the beginning of it.

A Sequence Of Miscarriages

Bernita suffered from three painful miscarriages over the last years. Her hope to have a baby started to look bleak. The thought that she lost three babies never left her mind. She was heartbroken but she knew being stressed wasn’t helping them either. The couple badly needed a reason to cheer up now.

Alternatives

Roy and Bernita started to think of other options. They were no different from the rest of the couples who faced the similar kind of struggles. While they didn’t even initiate the adoption process, something else caught their eye. 

A Cute Little Cat

When Bernita couldn’t find any reason to be happy about, a cute little guest started to show up in her backyard. He was a young stray tomcat who used to hop inside the backyard. Even though Bernita wasn’t an animal lover, she never scared him away. But this tiny black cat was soon going to bring the most shocking moment in her life.

Bitter Sweet Relationship

The cat had big eyes and sharp ears. The cat used to spend complete nights in that place without creating any disturbance at all. So once Bernita thought she should do something for her little guest. 

Bad Reputation

Cats have an attitude, not every attention-seeking owner is easily able to handle. Many times even the owners doubt if their cat loves them or even pays attention to them. Owning a cat is an entirely different experience than owning dogs.
