Hidden Beneath The Mud

The team consisting of several professors from the archeology department and the students of the University of Victoria participated in this excavation. The dug through the ground which was a very long process and later revealed a bed of peat. After hours of long digging, the team finally discovered something on which they could follow their further excavation. If they wouldn’t have found it then the possibility of the team looking further looked very thin. It was just a hunch after all. But the destiny was playing its part perfectly.

Eight Feet Below

The digging was a long process but finally, eight feet down they found a fossil soil. Yes, the fossil soil that surprised everybody. As we told you about this land which wasn’t accessible easily. The team landed on this land only after the helicopter was arranged for them. But if the land wasn’t available for a human to land then how come there was a fossil soil present there. It was later they found several other things that made solved that one of the biggest mysteries of the human civilization.

Fossil Game

In the eight feet deep pit the team made the astonishing discovery that changed everybody’s views about human civilization. Firstly, it wasn’t a pit after all. It was an ancient oven of which the archeologists had no idea from it came and how it ended up in this place. Though this ancient oven was an amazing discovery after all the hard work the team has put in, it was later several discoveries near this ancient oven that baffled everybody’s mind and solved the mystery of this place.

In Hope For More

After discovering an ancient pit in one of the spots of the inaccessible land, the team was excited to investigate the land further. The team was confident that they would find something amazing or this all could just turn into the worst nightmare. And the doubt of finding nothing was very natural as the team was acting on a plain hunch. They started digging the land around the ancient oven. Digging isn’t an easy task it could take a while because you never know in which layer of the soil you might find something and rush you could just destroy the discovery. But the wait was worth it as they found of which they haven’t thought of finding in this life.

The Ancient One

As we have told you the team was working on a hunch. The folktale they heard from the locals of that area made them take this risk which could easily end some of the archeologist’s career. But even then they did follow their heart only to unearth the mystery of the lifetime. The local of which we talked about are the Heiltsuk people also known as the First Nation native of the Great Bear Rainforest. They have always talked about their people in a very proud tone by telling that their ancestors have lived in this place since Ice Age. This inexplicable Triquet Island has been sung in several folktales and songs of this tribe. But the scientists have refuted the claims as there is no evidence of a human civilization ever footing in this place.

Scientists’ Side

According to the scientists, during the Ice Age, Western Canada was covered with ice and massive glacier. Triquet Island which is located off the coast of British Columbia and scientists are pretty sure that it too was submerged in the ice. Reaching the island would have been impossible and living there is out of the scene entirely. The scientists don’t believe the claim made by the locals. But soon the views changed when the discovery was made that told an entirely different story of the mystical land.
