Suelen Schaumloeffel was looking up for the dogs who were available to get adopted. One day she was going through her Facebook feed when she stumbled upon a post where she saw Lana’s picture on it along which there was a little message and in bold letters, it was written: “UP FOR ADOPTION.” Suelen knew that Lana was the one.

Suelen’s Better Half

Suelen showed Lana’s picture to her husband. She kept looking at her husband until there was a yes. Her husband loved her wife and with that face, in front of her, there was no way he could have said a no. They contacted the shelter. The date was fixed and the couple was to ready to bring the new member of the family in her new home. 

Lana’s Adoption

Suelen and her husband reached the shelter, waiting for their turn to see Lana. One of the volunteers from the shelter took them to Lana who was waving her tail when she saw new faces in the shelter. Suelen was so excited that she was literally running towards Lana. She just wanted to hold her new baby. The volunteer brought Lana out from the cage. Before she greeted Suelen and her husband, Lana smelled her to see if there was any danger to her. She felt relaxed around the couple. She was the one!

Bringing Her Home

Lana was in her new home. She was running her new house, checking every corner where her little body was able to reach. Both Suelen and her fiance were enjoying the scene. The new member of the family was feeling good. She would now stay here for the rest of her life. She had two loving people who would love her like a child. From two their family grew up to be the family of three. 

The Beginning Of New Life

Lana was enjoying her time in her new house. She found her favorite corner in the house where she was found taking a nap. Most of the time she slept with Suelen during their afternoon nap on the sofa in front of the television. Suelen was loving this new life with Lana. Not just Suelen, Lana loved Susan’s fiance too. Whenever he used to come back home after work she would just rush towards him and greet him with countless licks on his hands and face. Everything was good until that day.

She Never Forgot

Lana was getting all the love and attention of her new parents. She was truly having a good and healthy life in her new home. Even though there was so much for her in this new life, still Lana never forgot her old life from the street. And why is that? Because what she did let her parents realize that she still remembers her past.
