Brasher further explained during an interview to a television station: “Those puppies’ lives were in danger, and as happy as we are to help them, they’ve taken a kennel from a dog that’s on the euthanasia list at the city shelter.” Due to the constant rain, many animals had gotten under the dark wings of the virus. But soon good news made its way to them.
Crockett Is Healthy!
Everything was getting back on right track. The treatment that the Crockett was put on began to show improvements in his health and very soon he fully recovered from the virus. The organization disseminated this information through its Facebook page.
Again A Test
The post stated that Crockett was put on a test once again but this time the result came negative for parvovirus. It was then the staff ended the isolated state of his and let him share space with his bro. Crockett was soon going to meet his brother Bowie.
Back Again
Soon the brothers for life reunited. Even though they had been staying away from each other for a long time their affection for each other did not lessen a bit. In fact, as both of them had gotten healthier they would spend most of their time together playing and running around. Now it seemed things were only going to be better for them.
Pups Filled With Hope
Now, these pups are all set to start a new and happy journey of their lives. A life free of parasites, uncertainty, and fear. As far as Crockett is concerned, his fur is growing back now and is in a healthy state. “Despite their rough start to life, these boys are the sweetest and so hopeful!” said the post put out by ‘San Antonio Pets Alive! on their social media page. The only thing they need now is a home and a family that would adopt them.
