Mustard Oil
If you are suffering from cold, there is something lying right there in your cupboard that can come to the rescue. Mustard oil can actually relieve your cold quicker than you would expect. Just gently rub mustard oil on your chest and the vapors will help to decongest the nose.
Ginger
We all have ginger at home right? SO when you are having a cold, just mix a tablespoon of fresh or powdered ginger to boiling water. Keep that for about 10 minutes then add a tablespoon of honey to it. If you drink this tea 2-3 times a day you will find that your cold has gotten better with every cup. It relieves a cough and cold.
Onion Juice
Onion has a very strong smell. Some of us would prefer not to touch an onion as the smell does not go away quickly. However, onions can be of help if ever you have been bitten by an insect. Just apply some onion juice on the insect bite so that it goes away quickly.
Turmeric
When you get wounded, you want it to heal quickly so that you can go back to your daily grind. You can make a mix of turmeric powder in milk or water and apply this to the cut or wound. Just wrap it with a thin cloth or gauze so that it gets to work more efficiently. Your wound will heal in no time. You’re welcome!
Almond Oil
Almond oil is healthy no doubt, but you would be more than happy to learn that it has other uses too. Just heat up a glass of milk and to that put a teaspoon of almond oil. Remember to mix it well. If you drink this every night, your constipation will be relieved quickly.
Fruits
If you do not have these lying around in your house, you need serious help. Who doesn’t keep a few varieties of fruit in their home? If you incorporate some fruits rich in fiber like papaya, orange, figs in your diet, your constipation will die down almost instantaneously.
